Boat Handling

When lifting the boat using the trailers, ensure proper form to avoid injuring the back.

Remember that the boats are wide and long and require a large turning circle. Give plenty of room.

If turning the boat over for storage or to empty the boat, make sure there are adequate lifters to avoid injury and/or dropping the boat.

Make sure the boat is rigged and your stretchers at the correct position before putting the boat into the water. Ensure your gates are fastened securely.

Always launch the boats using the trailers provided. Reverse into the water till the boat is afloat and then simply pull the trailer out from underneath.

Do not let the stern of the boat come into shallow water. Remember that this is where the fin is located and can be easily snapped off.
